Nurse Audit, Inc was founded in 1994 to fill a niche in the cost containment industry. Inconsistencies and communication gaps among providers, payors, and auditors were creating missed opportunities to identify billing errors and abuses which hindered the audit function. These gaps, if not addressed proactively, ultimately mitigate the payors' ability to avoid overpayments.
